What I'm Building and Why — A Founder's Real Perspective

I'm not writing this post to launch a new course.

I'm not writing it to announce a product release.

I'm writing because I think I owe the community a real answer: what I'm doing, what I'm building, and why I believe this is the most important work I've done in 16 years of my career.

Quick Answer

I'm building AI thinking infrastructure for Vietnamese businesses — specifically four things: Director Mindset, Agentic Workflow, AI System Design for SMEs, and a Founder Community. Not tool tutorials. Not feature reviews. Real AI system design that actually runs inside how businesses operate.

The question I couldn't answer for years

Sixteen years in Branding and Marketing — I've worked with dozens of companies at every scale. Three-person startups. 200-person companies. Conglomerates with thousands of employees.

And there's one thing I observed for years but could never explain:

Same strategy. Same insight. Same agency executing. Completely different results.

Company A shipped immediately, clear impact within three months. Company B rolled out the exact same thing — dragged for six months, then abandoned it.

The answer wasn't in the idea. Not in the budget. Not in the creative team.

The answer was in the system that operationalized that idea.

Companies with a system — processes, the right people on the right work, a way to measure results — can make almost anything run. Companies without a system turn even a great strategy into a wishlist.

It took me 10 years to see something that simple.

Why AI changes the equation — in a way almost no one is talking about

When ChatGPT launched at the end of 2022, my first reaction wasn't "what a great tool."

My reaction was: This is the first time in history that a single person or a small business can build an operating system on the level of a large enterprise.

No 50-person team required. No massive budget. No dedicated IT department.

But that only holds under one condition: you have to know how to build systems — not just how to use tools.

And that's the problem.

Most AI education today — from YouTube, online courses, workshops — teaches people to use AI as a tool. How to prompt ChatGPT. Claude's latest features. Shortcuts in Canva AI.

Almost no one is teaching the more important thing: how to design a system where AI is one component — not something you open, type a question into, close, and walk away from.

That gap is what I'm filling.

What I'm building — specifically

I call what I'm building AI thinking infrastructure for Vietnamese businesses. It sounds grand. In practice, it's four concrete things.

1. Director Mindset — director thinking, not user thinking

A good AI user knows how to write prompts. A good AI orchestrator knows how to assign work, control output, and design workflows so AI plays the right role.

The difference is like the difference between someone who can drive a car and someone who can design a traffic system.

2. Agentic Workflow — AI runs inside the process, without a human triggering every step

This is something most Vietnamese businesses haven't touched yet.

Instead of opening Claude, typing a question, waiting for an answer, and pasting it into Word — I'm building workflows where AI receives input, processes it, outputs in the required format, and connects to other systems on its own.

Last month I built an automated Content Pipeline for Toi La Tung: from topic selection to a full draft with SEO metadata, with no intermediate steps for me. Three weeks to build. One month of live operation. About 8 hours saved every week.

3. AI System Design for SMEs — not tool training, system design

This is the service I'm building for small and mid-sized businesses: I don't come in to teach staff ChatGPT. I come in to audit current processes, identify bottlenecks, and design an AI system that fits how that specific company actually operates.

Every business is a different problem. There is no copy-paste template.

4. Founder Community — build together, don't learn alone

I'm building a community for people in a position like mine: founders, specialists, senior managers — people experienced enough to recognize real problems, serious enough to want real solutions, and busy enough not to burn two years trial-and-error before finding the right direction.

Why me — and not someone else

Fair question.

Vietnam's AI market has plenty of people teaching AI. Many are more technical than I am. Many have more students. Many produce more viral content.

But there's one thing I have that most of them don't: 16 years of understanding how businesses actually operate.

I know why a process that looks great on paper fails in practice. I know why employees refuse to use a new tool even when the tool is good. I know why owners can't let go and let a system run even when they say they want to.

You don't learn that on YouTube. You don't compress it into a three-minute Reels video.

And that is what I bring into every workflow, every coaching session, every system I design.

What I don't do — and why that matters

I don't teach "7 ChatGPT prompts that make you 10x more productive."

I don't review the newest AI tool every week.

I don't promise you'll earn an extra X million after the course.

Not because those things are wrong — but because I don't believe they create real, lasting impact on how Vietnamese businesses actually operate with AI.

I trust systems more than tips. I trust thinking more than tools. I trust measurable results more than the feeling of having learned a lot.

Checklist — if you're at the start of your AI journey

Before you go further — ask yourself:

• Am I using AI as a tool, or building workflows with AI?
• Is there any process in my work that I repeat every week that AI could handle?
• If I took two weeks off, would the AI in my system keep running?
• Can I measure the results of using AI with concrete numbers?
• Am I learning prompts, or learning process design?

You don't need answers immediately. But these are the questions I usually ask before I start designing an AI system for anyone.
